The objective of Stream Server Data project is provide a set of classes that enable the automatic detection of Shoutcast v1/v2 and Icecast servers, and the extraction of related media metadata. At this time, the library only supports streams encoded into mp3 format. In future releases, we would hope to incorporate OGG and AAC format support as well.
