Welcome to the Foundry! 

This Foundry exists to be a community of open source projects and developers interested in developing Java classes and projects either directly or indirectly supporting Second Life and other forms of "New Media".  All of our code is licensed under the "Eclipse Public License" and is free for both personal and commercial use. 

If you're interested in participating, please read our "How To Contribute" page and "Development" section of our site.

 

Projects

SL Asset DataA class the provides integration with Linden Lab's web services to retrieve metadata about avatars, objects and parcels in Second Life.
Stream Server DataA set of Java classes given a stream URL, extracts various metadata from Shoutcast v1, Shoutcast v2 and Icecast servers.  The URL can be the direct stream or a playlist file (PLS or M3U format).
